Traditionaly Ferreira do Valadouro used to celebrate each February 2 and March 25 an annual market in addition to the Saturday weekly market.

This custom was lost, but first the ACD Valadouro and now the Council recovers with energy and complementary activities the Tradicional Spring Market.

In addition to the typical sales and tasting of traditional products, the restaurants from Ferreira offer this weekend a gastronomic journey dedicated to Tapeo (variety of small food items or snacks originally served with wine). Conferences and discussions about the valley's agricultural production, craft shows, folk music, are some of the activities that can be enjoyed in this traditional market.

As a farewell to the people of the region and visitors, the celebration ends with a popular festival as it was done in those days now revived.
